MEET THE TEAM

Mara Feil
Mara, Co-Founder of The Gut Center, is our fearless gut guru. Double Board Certified in Ayurveda, (with a specialty in Gut Health & Digestion) and Holistic Health & Nutrition, she's armed with Ayurvedic Nutrition training from Ayurveda’s World NYC and The Joyful Belly School Of Ayurvedic Diet & Digestion.
Adding to her expertise, she trained at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, is Board Certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners at SUNY Purchase, and is also certified in Orthomolecular and Functional Nutrition.
Bringing zen to the hustle, she's a longtime Transcendental Meditator. She's also served as Vice Chair of The Children’s Health Council at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. Mara deeply appreciates Western Medicine and the role it plays when integrated with alternative approaches.
In another life, Mara graduated cum laude from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and Emory College with degrees in Business and Journalism. A Miami native, Mara's called New York City home for nearly 20 years, with her husband and two children.

Katie Curi
Katie grew up in Dallas, Texas and relocated to New York City after graduating with a degree in Textiles & Apparel and Business from The University of Texas at Austin. Her career took her through many roles at Macy’s and Coach and then to a third, very full-time gig as a mother of three within four years. Needless to say, she was around a lot of sh*t!
Katie has helped build The Gut Center into a community of nearly 600. As The Gut Center's COO, Katie has been instrumental in supporting the launch of REBOOT and ReENTRY programs, all with the purpose of changing the gut health of America on bow(e)l at a time.
She's a cheerleader and amazing resource for REBOOTers. Katie brings connection, levity and high-vibe energy to cleansers, even in the most challenging moments.

Dr. Dannette Kallay

Jeremy Ann Anderson
Jeremy Ann Anderson serves as The Gut Center's Ayurvedic Medical Advisor. She is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist with nearly 20 years of experience as a practitioner, educator, and student, dedicated to training the next generation of Ayurvedic professionals.
Jeremy has been joyfully teaching Ayurveda for 20 years as a Master Teacher at the California College of Ayurveda where she graduated as valedictorian of the 2005 Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist class. On the faculty of The Joyful Belly School of Ayurveda, she teaches the Ayurvedic Health Counselor program, the Ayurvedic Nutrition & Digestive Health program, and the Clinical Ayurvedic Herbalist program. Along with holding a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist certification, Jeremy received her Panchakarma Specialist and Marma Therapist Certifications through CCA, and completed studies at the American Institute of Vedic Studies in Ayurveda for Healthcare Professionals concurrently. She became a Certified Massage Therapist to deepen her PanchaKarma services. Jeremy continues her Vedic Studies in her efforts to always deepen and expand her learning and understanding.
Jeremy joined the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine (CAAM) as a Board member to help advance the recognition and integration of Ayurveda within the broader healthcare community. This role allows her to contribute to shaping the future of Ayurvedic practice in California while supporting practitioners and educating the public about its benefits. She also serves as the Education Chair and is on the Board of Directors of California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine.
Jeremy maintains her private practice, Inspired Life with Jeremy Ann Anderson, in the Lake Tahoe region and worldwide, where she offers consultations, workshops, and nature therapy, helping her patients find balanced health and peace of mind through this ancient and profound science.
After many years of private practice, Jeremy founded Inspired Life Healing Collective in 2023, a yearlong wellness club for women committed to reclaiming their health and overcoming chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases. Through twice weekly gatherings, systematic diet and lifestyle shifts, and seasonal cleanses - aligned with the lunar cycles and attuned with the rhythms of nature - Jeremy's collective provides a supportive environment where members can learn, connect, share their journeys, and embark on transformative paths toward wellness and healing.
Jeremy lives in Truckee, CA with her beloved husband of 30+ years and her 2 teenage daughters. Her passion for nature brought her to the Sierras in 1999 where she found she had a deep spiritual connection to the mountains, forests, and rivers of this place. She and her husband decided to put down roots and have been enjoying raising their family here and exploring every footpath and river current they can in this awe-inspiring paradise.
